Hey, Littens! Is anyone else receiving some but not all posts you‘ve been tagged in? I‘m in 2 book mark up groups and I am definitely NOT receiving all of my messages from my co-reader/writers. I notice when I look at someone‘s feed, I see I‘ve been tagged but I know I was not notified (I‘m rather obsessive about checking Litsy when I‘m involved in a swap of any kind). Any thoughts?

Laughterhp That‘s happened to me once or twice previously (as far as I know!) I don‘t know if it‘s the way someone maybe tags you.. or if it‘s just an error. It happened to me before the server upgrade. 6y

CocoReads It‘s happened to me off and on even before the server migration. And for instance, I got 2 notifications saying you tagged me in this post but I‘m only tagged once? 6y

cobwebmoth This happens to me sometimes. I'll get a notification that I've been tagged, but then I'll check my list of notifications here in the app and it won't show that I've been tagged. I'm not sure why it happens. 6y

GarthRanzz It‘s happening to me. I only found about three of my #KingAtoZ posts that I was tagged in because I went through the actual tag to find them. The don‘t show on my profile page at all. Been happening the last two days at least. 6y

jpmcwisemorgan My match isn‘t either so I‘ve selected books from their TBR. I also chose a couple that I‘ve read and liked that, based on what they‘ve liked, they will probably enjoy. I‘m sending some other small items and I just picked things that most people seem to like getting. A lot of people on Litsy like getting recs outside of what they normally read too. 6y

Oh Littens. I am in destress. It seems like every book I start, I end up abandoning - not because it's a bad book, but because I start to think maybe it's not what I want to read that day. The requirements seem to change every day. Is there anything that you read that grabbed you from the very beginning? Does anyone else ever have this problem or am I hopeless?

Ok, I need some advice. I am horrified by this election and talking about it makes me angry and agitated. So I purposefully avoided the topic at a long day of work. When I got home, I tried to talk to my BF (also an HC supporter) about it all, started to get agitated, and he shut me down. He doesn't understand my anger and won't let me talk about it (he's otherwise lovely). What do I do? I need to be able to get this out somewhere!

Shemac77 Talk here. I can't imagine the frustration you all must be feeling. I'm heartsick for all of America. We are all going to have to come together and protect the ones that will suffer the most from this horrific result. Stand up. Have a voice. I saw a map of what the young person vote was and it was almost all blue. The future is bright. Hugs to you. 7y

I did find a good friend to chat with who reminded me that no one can give us 100% of what we need, which is sage advice. And Litsy has definitely been a great help today when I've actually had a chance to be on here! 7y

BookishFeminist My door is always open if you want to talk. Anger, sadness, chatting, anything. Always. Contact info in my bio if you want to DM and I'm also happy to give my phone # or email if you want. It's a common trend I'm noticing with men not understanding why this election's results are so literally gut wrenching for women, POC, LGBT, etc. It's worth having a convo with him about male privilege at some point but prob not yet. Until then, take care. 💖💖 7y

I-read-and-eat I have the same thing with my BF, I just get more wound up by these things then he does. That's because for one, I am a woman and feel an unfairnes that he doesn't. But also because it makes him sad to to think about it too much and become so angry. He wants to fix it, often for me, but he can't. So when I get angry about these things it upsets him as there is nothing he can do for me. So he wants me to stop taking about it. And so I do. 7y

I-read-and-eat It's good to talk about it with someone, a friend or here on Litsy (my door is always open) and you should talk to him too. But also consider that he might have shut you down to protect himself, and that's ok too. He can also deal with these things how he seems fit. 7y

CoffeeAndABook I think the above advice & support is wise & hardly needs adding to - maybe to say that it's such a good choice to reach out further when your needs aren't met. I'm impressed with the warmth that is spreading through Litsy right now. I feel so much of the pain & confusion myself (today in a new raw quality) & it helps to see how many of us share that & to hear the strengthening thoughts some of us have. Thanks to all you Littens for your open ❤️ 7y

Notafraidofwords I agree with you. I feel so much pain. I see people moving along their life and I feel like I can't. I feel stuck in a bad nightmare. 7y
