monalyisha @Pricel101 I made my brothers, who are 7 & 8 years younger than me, watch Buffy when they were the appropriate age, too. It was maybe my most important job as their big sister. Now, my biggest bro does THE BEST(/worst) Gentlemen impression. I have a hilarious video of him doing it — while riding a hover-board — saved on my phone. 😆 It‘s terrifying. 5y

When I Grow Up I Want to Be a List of Further Possibilities | Chen Chen

When I was sick, I had a fever-dream that Chen Chen had written a poem about Buffy. I was so stoked but not surprised. He‘s that cool.

Then, only AFTER I had this dream, I started following him on Instagram. I saw that he‘d posted a video of a little pug in the snow, named Mr. Giles. “That‘s curious,” I thought.🤔

I JUST finished his collection & in the acknowledgments...he thanks RUPERT GILES.

I feel like I should apologize for not enjoying this book more!

There were lots of great, fun ideas and scenes but the book fluctuates from a weird script format to regular fiction text and it really doesn't work when you're listening to it on audio. Maybe it made sense visually but I couldn't figure out why random scenes were being described like a play all of a sudden!
