I love psychology/neurology books! The brain is so fascinating and it‘s a way I can improve at #knowingmeknowingyou. I bought this one (not read yet) because I listen to Dave McRaneys “You Are Not So Smart” podcast every fortnight. He talks to leading experts in brain science about flaws in our perception and reasoning. It can go from “sleep deprivation and bias” to “how politics became our identity” ⬇️

I ❤️‘d it 😁It was beyond hilarious and made me believe that the author was just a girlfriend I was having coffee with ~ a definite case of #KnowingMeKnowingYou #AbbaInAugust and the cover is STUNNING❣️❣️❣️ I‘m officially obsessed with Nora Ephron ( is she related to Zac?!?!) and NOW I want to read ALL her books. Only some of them succeed artistically, and their lives don't turn out quite as they dreamed & expected they would. This book follows the lives of a not-quite-so-interesting group of friends and while it starts off intriguing, by the end I was left wondering why I should care. #ABBAinAugust

Well, I can honestly say, this author and his writing style are not for me. And I‘m guessing @Cinfhen , #knowingmeknowingyou, you would not be a fan either? There was so much superfluous verbosity, that I skimmed half the book and I only finished it because it was a book club choice. The mystery part was halfway interesting but the rest - ugh. #abbainaugust
