Loving this cozy book so far!! Sherlock Holmes and a 15 year old female detective? Yes, please! I'm really enjoying King's writing; almost every chapter is a different case that Holmes and new apprentice, Mary Russell, solve. Very #heartwarming novel and #comingofage story. Detective stories that have happy and resolved endings just fill me with such joy and comfort.

The older I get, the more I find myself leaning into my passion for Sherlock Holmes stories. This collection is by Holmes fans, for Holmes fans and I found myself enjoying most of them. I especially enjoyed the first poem from Dr. Watson's perspective.

Been listening to this one on audio while I work on projects at work. Some of the stories are great, some of them are . . . not so great. Still, I can see the holmes cannon in the bones of each one and I enjoy that.

Fans of mystery and Sherlock Holmes, this might be your next favourite book! I have never read a Sherlock Holmes book before, so I can't compare it.

I loved the beginning and suspense.

Watson - interesting character, though doesn't seem to have his own opinion.

Sherlock - So smart, but I also see him as one of the rude aristocrats.

I greatly recommend it if you love the Sherlock Holmes books!

Found this beauty while backpacking through London a couple years ago. It was such a cool experience to stand where I'd pictured, throughout so many books by Arthur Conan Doyle. Lots of evidence and artifacts littered the apartment including some from #baskervilles. Loved this book. Probably my favorite Sherlock investigation. It was recommended by my Dad which makes it ever more special.
