How on earth I am actually able to study with the random things in my brain that distract me is a miracle. 🧠 📚 🎶
I'm torn on how to rate this book.
I give the content ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
I give the presentation ⭐⭐.
The subject is important & interesting. However, the material is written in a textbook format which leads to, well, you know zzzzzzz.
Good human psychology and observational review.

My proudest accomplishment and the bravest thing I‘ve ever done is decide to live my life.
There is no shame in reaching out for help or to talk or to just sit in silence with someone.

I had such a blast reading this! The numbers are a little dated on it because it's from 2015 but like the book said, since the system hasn't really changed since the mid-1900s, the information is still really good. This book is part autobiography about the author's time as a garbage man and part educating the public on the importance of waste services. I really appreciated the art style and the sense of humor throughout this entire thing.
I was almost done reading this a few years ago when it became a casualty of overdue library books. I haven‘t finished it yet but what I read was excellent. I think it should be required reading with every high school American History course. It makes a case for not using textbooks to teach history at all but rather primary documents to get the truth and not the official press release of history.

Not really book related but I took my last final today in school! I still have to wait for graduation in June but I'm officially done!
