When Binti attends Oomza Uni, she is surrounddd by all kinda people & not so people people. There are 100s Of different types of life forms at the Uni, humanoid ones & ones that look like giant jellyfish. Or ones that look like Cousin It. You get the picture.👽🐙🚀

#Riotgrams #Day4 #StacksonStacks

Just one stack tonight before going to bed. These are my current nightstand books. The bottom two I am currently reading, the top one I just found today in a Little Free Library.

Got a bit behind on this challenge due to 3 days being internet-less, but getting back on track now!

Went on a bit of a shopping spree today. Take a guess which title I'm likely to finish first.

GatheringBooks you won‘t go wrong with the chaos walking trilogy! 3mo

DS9 6.07 #YouAreCordiallyInvited Funny and smart exploration of Klingon culture, from male and female points of view, with my 2nd favourite Klingon woman Lady Sarilla (K'Ehleyr's No1). Snark and hijinks ensue. My only critique is that the wedding ceremony is way too Christian to be coherent with Klingon religion. The tagged authors agree with me on this in fact.

#startreksummerjune #day4 @Megabooks

Megabooks I agree about the ceremony. It was a fun episode. 3mo
tournevis @Megabooks One of the funniest! 3mo

#BookFitnessChallenge @wanderinglynn

#Day4

I was busy with family stuff Sunday and didn't get a walk in so I did a little extra today. This is a combination of walking on my morning and afternoon breaks at work. Then a brisk walk with my dogs after work. I think I am going to break down and get a fitness tracker to record steps and distance. I completed A Conjuring of Light and started on Exit Strategy

wanderinglynn Way to go! 🙌🏻 3mo
BarbaraJean I‘ve been using my phone to track steps & distance because I‘m too cheap to buy a tracker! 😆 (edited) 3mo
TheSpineView @BarbaraJean I tried that and didn't like it because my phone is too big to carry comfortably. 3mo

BarbaraJean Yeah, I have a tiny iPhone, so that helps. But I still leave it lying around instead of always on me, so I feel like I‘m not getting “credit” for all my steps! 🤷🏻‍♀️ 3mo
Ash.on.the.line Great job! 3mo
BookwormAHN Nice job 👏🏻 3mo
Caterina Good job finding ways to get some walks in!! I recently took advantage of the Fitbit mother's day sale (even though I'm not a mom 😂) and got the fitbit inspire HR, and it has definitely been inspiring me, so I think it's working! 3mo
TheSpineView @Caterina I'm not sure if I want to commit to the cost of a Fitbit. Wondering if I would use all the features when mainly I just want a pedometer. Also I think of how many books I could buy for the cost of one. 3mo
TheSpineView @Ash.on.the.line @BookwormAHN Thanks! 3mo

#MarchIntoThe70s #Day4 #WontGetFooledAgain Today‘s prompt is a classic from The Who. I first heard them when I watched their rock opera Tommy, I think Peter Moon was a drum god! In this series, the AI that essentially IS the ship & its “zombie” soldiers, is betrayed by the ruler of the empire & has all but 1 of its soldiers destroyed. Trapped in a human body, it sets out to avenge itself on a ruler that is herself, many.

Cinfhen I saw TOMMY on Broadway performed by THE WHO in the early 90‘s. So good!!!!! But really disturbing 6mo
Lizpixie @Cinfhen the 70s was big for disturbing rock operas. Have you seen The Wall from Pink Floyd? It starred Bob Geldof as a singer called Pink who did drugs & drank & was very disturbed and disturbing!😳 (edited) 6mo
Cinfhen Yes!!! How could I forget...gave me legit nightmares!!!!! 6mo
