I discovered this podcast by two great Aussie ladies through the magic of twitter. They look at the lives of women who push the boundaries. The most recent episode is about Eugenia Falleni, who lived for a time as a man in the early 1900s. He was found guilty for the murder of his wife (although evidence is sketchy) but he was more vilified by the media for living as a "man woman". Check them out! #rockinmay #dangeroustypes

I like this series, and I am not ashamed. Zsadist (the names are annoying, but I learned to deal) is my favorite of the Brotherhood. He's a vampire who had a horrible past of abuse, and as a result he's angry and mean and very scary at the beginning of his story.... definitely the dangerous type.

Also, he's super hot. 🔥 🔥 😍 😂

Gissy Yes, I'm a vampire book fan and I like Ward vampire stories! And also like the books of Lara Adrian! ❤Well, I'm not ashamed to admit that I like what some people can call trashy vampire stories, love them especially when you can find sexy vampires ☺️👌🏼 7y

The Wire in the Blood | Val McDermid

Can't beat Jacko Vance for a #dangeroustype. One of my favourite love to hate characters in one of my favourite books, love the Tony Hill / Carol Jordan Series (would make my top ten list) and this is the best one by far. If you haven't read it or the series give it a try, very psychological.

Andrew65 @Bambolina_81 It is definitely one of my favourite favourite series. I agree, certainly far from my favourite narrator. He was the narrator for the versions of Wire in the Blood I listed need to it was Michael Tudor Barnes, although that version is no longer available on audible. A shame because he was excellent. Have you read the others in the series? (edited) 7y

andrew61 I do like the series and im deciding to read splinter soon, however the return of Jacko was a bit disappointing i thought, the original was gr8 though. 7y

Andrew65 @andrew61 Totaaly agree, The Retribution was very disappointing and didn't fit with the rhythm of the other books in the series. I was much happier with Splinter the Silence which I aim to read again before the new one is published in August. 7y

I think Moriarty classes in this category and this is my copy of the book in which he brings about the great detectives downfall (at least for a while)
I did buy it second hand although I did read it in my teenage years but im not so old that it cost me two and six.

Jess_Read_This @Reviewsbylola You may really enjoy this series then. Each one takes place in a different cemetery and there are explanations of symbolism and grave placements in historic cemeteries. I found it fascinating. Here is the first book in the series:
