TheAromaofBooks Like I want to be mad at Amelia, but I feel like she is at least trying to do her best for other people instead of thinking of herself. Her biggest mistake was falling in love with the person she was literally told to fall in love with her entire life, so it's even kind of hard to fault her for that. Osborne Sr gloating about her being poor and broken was absolutely infuriating. 8mo

Cuilin Why would Amelia give up her son, they disowned their own son!! Boggles the mind! As for Georgy he‘s s not bothered with the move, but has he had a change of heart giving money to the little sweep! Where‘s Dobbin??? 8mo

Bklover I‘m already getting attached to Becky. I was feeling sorry for her until the departure scene, when I realized she can quite take care of herself. I did feel a bit sorry for Jemima, though, as she risked her sister‘s wrath to sneak Becky a dictionary! 9mo
