IndoorDame I‘m going to be catching up on my buddy reads that I‘ve fallen behind on this weekend, and hopefully sneaking in some housekeeping. I keep starting tv shows that seem promising then getting bored after a few episodes. My newest is Aquarius, which reminds me of a retro cop show version of Emma Cline‘s The Girls. Fun so far except I can‘t get that Bree Sharp song out of my head 🤣 (apologies if it‘s an 👂🪱for anyone else!) 4h

Cupcake12 I had work this morning 3am til 9am. Took the dogs out for a walk then relaxing this afternoon with my new book. Ready for an early night 🛏️ 4h

Typical week-end for me. Caught up with both kids and an old friend.
Went out for banh mi and yakisoba for lunch and picked up library book.
Home in Arlington Heights Illinois with beautiful weather and leaves just starting to turn.
Having lunch this week with high school girlfriend and invited to some sort of classical music thing at Ravinia one night.
Started season 4 of Slow Horses on AppleTV. Excellent show!

1. So far, yes. Slept in, and am staying in as it is currently 105º outside. 🥴
2. Matt's watching the D-backs, I'm doing Litsy and #LitsyLove and #LitSolaceFallCardSwap cards. We're lying low today, reading and watching college football once the D-backs are done.
3. Cozying up in the den with Matt and the pups.
4. Books: THE GOD OF THE WOODS and THE HOUSE IN THE CERULEAN SEA: both rock!

2. My usual errands & hanging out. Went to the monthly makers market by my house & bought baked goods, & cards & stickers. ((I‘m addicted!)🤦🏻‍♀️

3. I‘m at the coffee shop for fuel☕️& breakfast. Reading the tagged book for #SundayBuddyRead & then working on my cards for #LitSolaceFallCardSwap🍁

4. Work! No Hilo trip this week but I have a conscious leadership session.🍵

🔹️ Enjoying my weekend. Doing what I do every weekend, ride, house chores, cook dinner, read. Tomorrow will be rinse and repeat.
🔹️ Currently chilling on the couch and waiting for the washer to finish. Exciting 🤪
🔹️ My only plan next week is to get my hair done on Tuesday.
🔹️ I watched The Idea of You. Enjoyed, but it didn't follow the book. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

As one can readily see, I lead an exciting life(not). So it will be another week that vanishes in an instant with more of the same☝️but I will be seeing my grands too❣️

IndoorDame It‘s mostly a rest and recovery weekend for me with a bit of housekeeping thrown in so I‘m super excited that there‘s a new season of Call The Midwife to keep me entertained! Loving my current buddy reads The Flight Portfolio and The Hotel, but looking around for a new read-at-your-own-pace book. 1w

TheBookHippie My son‘s XC race at the butt crack of dawn 🤣🤣🤣🏃🏻 I‘m with @IndoorDame and watching Call the Midwife. Loving all my buddyreads currently! Finalizing my choices for my 2025 lists of group reading I do! 1w

TheBookHippie FYI Mr BookHippie and I just finished White Collar on Netflix that was fun. He watched the Scott Peterson thing and said yup he‘s still guilty …. I will not watch it. 1w

Read4life Relaxing and planning for next week. My daughter has her MRI so we‘re going back up to her to meet with the doctors again. I‘ll need to pack and get some things done at home. I also had to move Dr appointments to the beginning of the week so my M-W are now very busy and then the 7 hour drive. Audiobooks are my friends 🤓 1w

My weekend has been busy. Getting my sister set up so she can bike and bus for a while (her car needs a big repair).
Also on the way home Friday evening a black bear was running through a very nearby neighborhood. My plan for the rest of my weekend is get caught up on sleep and housework. Have to clean the interior of my car, especially the windows.
