Official time for #Deweys24HourReadathon #DeweyOct circled. I aimed for 8 hours, but given my lack of reading time of late, I‘m happy I could devote 5 hours to reading in the last 24 hours!
Won‘t make it to a full 24 hours for #24B4Monday , but it‘s miserable outside, and miracle of miracles I have nothing scheduled, so I‘ll see how much more I can read today.
Bleak, sad, and taut, but with moments of hope and triumph. I cannot believe I‘m talking about a zombie book, but reader, I am.
I flew through this book, after almost not even starting. Really strong writing and a serious feminist vibe. Orpen is a character that is going to stick with me, and I must say I would not be opposed to a sequel. Her world is original and fascinating.
#deweys24hourreadathon - 2nd book done
Finished my first (and only) book of the weekend! Listened for a while before bed to let my brain relax after all that school reading. I read from seven books for seminary today. Ending at 9:38:49 for #DeweysReadathon and stopping for the day at 13:54:04 for #24b4Monday (probably won't read much tomorrow though, I have church and then plenty of homework that isn't reading). Goodnight! 😴 #readathon #deweys24hourreadathon @DeweysReadathon
6 am, kids still sleeping, cats driving me nuts for about an hour now. So, I got up, put on the yoga pants, made tea and decided to maybe do some yoga. Well, Theodor (the unicorn) and I have yet to muster the courage to get onto the yoga mat.

PS: I'll calculate my stats once the tea is gone and I have to get up again
Okay #readathon friends, I hit a wall and totally burned out and had to nap for a few hours and eat dinner and just give my brain a break, since I'd been up since 5 am and spent most of the day reading heavy grad school stuff, but I'm back to it now feeling refreshed! Still going to go to bed at a good time though, I don't do all-nighters. 😂 #deweysreadathon #deweys24hourreadathon @DeweysReadathon #24b4Monday
