Clwojick I recommend An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena and All The Missing Girls by Megan Miranda! 5y
Clwojick For those #GraphicNovel lovers, I suggest My Favorite Thing Is Monsters ( which I may have to reread), Chew, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and PaperGirls. 5y
Lizpixie I‘ve already suggested non fiction about serial killers or murders. Anything by Tess Gerritsen, Kathy Reichs, Peter Robinson, Ann Cleeves, Jo Nesbo, Claire Macintosh, Michael Connolly or Robert Crais. For ScandiThrillers you have Henning Mankell, Karin Fossum, Ann Holt, Arnaldur Indridason & Camilla Lackberg. There‘s also Stuart McBride, Thomas Harris, Chris Carter, Ruth Rendell, Gillian Flynn & Rachel Caine. Early Patricia Cornwall too. 5y
Lizpixie For the #scavengerhunt prompt #boneinthetitle most of Kathy Reichs books have bone in the title, or the new release 5y
Clwojick @Lizpixie I absolutely love the show Bones, and i quite enjoyed the one audiobook that i read by Kathy Reichs. I'll have to check out a few more by her :) 5y

Clwojick @Lizpixie and I‘m with you 💯 on Practical Magic! That‘s one I seriously need to reread! I‘ve had it on my self since late last year. 5y
Lizpixie For #abouthalloween there‘s Halloween Party by Agatha Christie, The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury, Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury or the short story collection Dead Leaves:8 Tales From The Witching Season by Kealan Patrick Burke. 5y
Bookwormjillk @Lizpixie I was going to suggest Agatha Christie too. I have Murder on the Orient Express on my TBR, and I‘m guessing #somebodydies in that one. 5y
Lizpixie For #pumpkinonthecover there‘s Pumpkin Heads by Rainbow Rowell, the above Dead Leaves by Kealan Patrick Burke, Crypt Suzette by Maya Corrigan & Death By Pumpkin Spice by Alex Erickson. 5y
Clwojick @Bookwormjillk I‘ve had Murder on the Orient Express on my shelf for WAY too long. Hopefully I‘ll finally get to it in October. 5y
Lizpixie For #thatscaresyou some books that had me shaking(which isn‘t easy to do)are Bird Box by Josh Malerman, The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty( I recommend the audiobook read by the author), The Hatching by Ezekiel Boone, Salem‘s Lot, Christine, The Tommyknockers, It, The Shining & Pet Sematery by Stephen King, The Amityville Horror by Jay Anson & The Hot Zone by Richard Preston. 5y
kezzlou85 @Lizpixie I think you've named just about ever suggestion I thought of. Well done. You've had so many brilliant ideas. 5y
Sarahreadstoomuch For the book with a #vampire I‘m planning on Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell - it shouldn‘t be scary at all, but I‘ve been waiting on it! Her graphic novel Pumpkinheads is terrific too and fills a couple categories. 5y
madamereadsalot1 I'm planning to read In the Valley of the Sun for a black cover/ with a vampire/ over 200 pages/ where a character dies categories. 5y
alisiakae One of my neighbor‘s was Megan Miranda, our kids used to be at school together, and she is so sweet! All the Missing Girls is fantastic, but her first books, Fracture and Vengeance, would also be a great fit for this challenge! 5y
Kappadeemom So can one book be counted for several of the scavenger hunt items? 5y
InkedBookworm13 I enjoy books from Gillian Flynn and Kerri Maniscalco. I read a bunch of one off books... one of us is lying, then she was gone, girl on the train, the seven deaths of Evelyn hardcastle, and birdbox. 5y
RainyDayReading Throwing in some more graphic novel recs for those that want them. For #Zombie there‘s Scooby Apocalypse, #vampire there‘s Day Men, for #Witch I highly recommend Spell on Wheels and for #someonedies there‘s Kill or Be Killed, Lady Killer or The Fade Out. Each of these (except for Spell on Wheels) are part of a series as well. I‘ll do some digging and drop back by with some book suggestions after I peruse my bookcase a bit 😊 5y
Liatrek @Clwojick I wanted to check can one book be used to get multiple points in the different challenges? Example my copy of Murder on the links is black cover 1 point scary scavenger hunt, team theme mystery 2 points = 3 points or a book can only be used to get points in one category? 5y
Clwojick @Liatrek yes, the points can be stacked. 5y
Liatrek @Clwojick Thank you! Working on my Scare a thon spreadsheet 😊 I‘m so excited! 5y
