Okay, I KNOW it is super early, BUT packing up my book exchange package Got me thinking about combining 2 of my favorite things. Presents and Halloween.
Would there be an interest in an All Hollows Eve book exchange with a scary or Halloween theme to the books and bookish gifts? #halloweenbookexchange

GypsyKat I love Halloween, too! And it sounds fun, but I think I heard that @Tiffy_Reads is hosting another book swap at that time. I'm not saying don't do your own if you want to, but you may not have as many people sign up if they're already doing that one. Or I could be totally wrong. 😊 7y

BookishMarginalia @LeahBergen Yes, I'm doing a #HalloweenGoesPostal #AutumnBookExchange - sign up is Sept 1-7. But it's not Halloween-themed necessarily (I don't like horror myself, so I'm not going to limit the theme of the books & goodies sent), so I'm sure if you want to do a themed Halloween/horror one, you'll get plenty of interest, @MaleficentBookDragon! BookishMarginalia @robinb Yes, they are exchanges of bookish gifts. However, most people put a lot of effort and time getting to know their match's reading preferences by "stalking" their Litsy (and even Goodreads), so it does turn out to be a great getting-to-know-you activity. 7y

robinb I see. I have just participated in a holiday book club exchange where we contacted our book buddy and actually corresponded thru FB over our literature likes/dislikes. Just wanted to ask if there was any contact between pairs on this one. 7y
