With a great performance & some dogs, this made #AudioWrapping fun! Though it‘s a ghost story as Tess renovates her grandparents‘ home to turn it into a B&B, it‘s not as spooky as I‘d hoped. A dash of romance & plenty of family secrets made this easy to listen to in one sitting but the climax is just too much of an explanation to be feel satisfying. I didn‘t hate it, but I just had higher hopes. I wanted it to commit more fully to one genre!

I‘ve been enjoying listening to Simon Vance‘s narration of A Christmas Carol while I get some wrapping done. ❤️🎄 #AudioWrapping

I started a new audiobook while I wrapped some presents! This is my third Monica Ferris mystery, and I‘m officially a fan. There‘re a couple of dodgy things here and there, but for the most part these needlecraft books are a lot of fun. They make me want to make stuff.

Plus, they‘re set in Minnesota. I like Minnesota. #audiowrapping

I got this as a free Audible Original last year & finally managed to get it listened to on Thanksgiving & today while #audiowrapping presents. A good family/sibling drama that takes place over several Thanksgiving dinners where life & circumstances change from year to year. At first the MC annoyed me but she grew on me, as did her family & I enjoyed this quick holiday listen that had me missing my siblings & our own family quirks & traditions.
