Happy Aloha Friday 🌺🍍I snuck a brief few minutes at SBUX this morning before work for a few pages of my current book for book tour review next week & Christmas Blend & a Chocolate Swirl Brioche. (I'm making it my mission to try all of the seasonal pastries) 😋😆I can't tell you how happy I am that Friday is finally here. #alohafriday

Starting Friday of a long week with my first cup of Christmas Blend of the season & a seasonal Pistachio-Honey Croissant. ☕️🥐I wanted one of the free red reusable cups, but I got here at 7:00 AM the store was out of them by 5:00 AM. 😮Oh well... A chapter or two of my current read before work.
So glad it's #AlohaFriday even if it's a rainy morning.🌺 🌈

I am so happy it's Friday. 🎉A long, busy week where I rolled out the first part of management development training I have been working on. It's all good but I'm facilitating my third workshop of this week in a bit & my inner introvert is feeling drained. 😬Stealing a few minutes with my current book tour #ARC at SBUX before getting to it. Posted my 70s pic already but I finished it last night & it gets a pick from me. Good suspense, campy chills, a fun retro-vibe & I'll agree with the group, it doesn't seem outdated-it reminds me of Rosemary's Baby that way. Levin is not kind to the wives in either book & doesn't put husbands in a good light. I do wish we'd gotten inside Walter's head a bit.🤔

Happy I got the Kindle deal as my print copy still isn't here.😠

I did have my usual humid Friday order of an acai bowl and cold brew coffee with coconut milk for breakfast at the coffeeshop, but I just had a few scant moments with one of my current #ARC reads before getting busy with an online meeting. Still, it was delicious and it's #AlohaFriday 🌺🍍so I can't complain too much. I'm ready for the weekend.😬

Whoops! This pic is pretty much deja vu to last week Friday when I was eating the same coffeeshop breakfast of Eggs Caprese and coffee and reading the same thriller. I haven't had much time for this one, but I'm about 45% in and it's not bad. Finishing up some work & emails and looking forward to a weekend of rest, reading and hopefully finally kicking this cold. 🤧 Hope your weekend is starting well.

Excuse the lighting--it was 0-dark-thirty when I got to the coffeeshop this morning. I have a plan to do my email, a blog post, finish up some minor busy work & some catch-up reviews on Goodreads, then run by the grocery store since I'm already parked at the center & get out--or bail early if the holiday madness gets too much.😬#worktheplan👍Starting the morning with a sun-dried tomato bagel with lox & a cinnamon-honey soy latte. #alohafriday🌺🎄

It's Friday and I'm hoping to power through some work this morning and get to my weekend sooner rather than later. But first my coffeeshop breakfast of an Acai bowl, a press of local coffee & a little of this book that's been hanging out on my Kindle for a while. It's Friday and I'm kicking off this Veteran's Day holiday with some breakfast & work at the coffeeshop--although how long I'll last is unknown as it's getting a bit crazy due to the holiday. 😬 Acai bowl, press of local coffee & some pages of this foodie book before trying to wrap up a few lingering projects.
