On the horizon ...
#OldCoolBooks #hardcovers
Since I used my paperback Trixie Belden books for yesterday's prompt, I figured I should show the hardbacks today. It's a busy Monday so excuse the quick pic & my not dusting first. 😬😆On top are some Nancy Drew books that hang out on the same shelf.
The thin hardcover editions were published in the early 70s. My sister owned the first few, but lost interest so I claimed them & got the rest for birthdays & such.💛📚
It arrived! Thanks so much for the goodies @merelybookish you so generously sent. I love it all! ❤️ I have not read anything by this author so I‘m looking forward to a new adventure. I chose blue for my tab color and I will send the others along. 😍

So very close to my new office.
I remember loving Trixie Belden the best of all the series I read as a kid. I couldn't remember what especially appealed to me so when I saw this book at the library, I thought I'd refresh my memory. I wasn't far into it when my memories came rushing back. Trixie was a smart aleck tomboy; a badass for gentler times. I liked her then; I like her now.
