Everyone knows football is a matter of life and death. But this time, it's murder. Scot Manson is the team coach for London City FC and an all-round fixer for the lads. Players love him, bosses trust him. But now the team's manager has been found dead at their home stadium. Even Scott can't smooth over murder ... but can he catch the killer before he strikes again?

19 books total - there were a lot of good ones this month!
17/26 for #LitsyAtoZ
10/50 for #ReadingUSA2019
3/6 for #booked2019

britt_brooke Great month! How did you like The Witch Elm? 6y
Pamwurtzler @britt_brooke thanks! I loved The Witch Elm - It was one of those twisty dramas where you may think you know the answer, but it turns out to be wrong! 6y
britt_brooke @Pamwurtzler Thanks - I‘ve never read Tana French, but this is in my TBR. 6y
StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego Great job! 📚💕 6y

Daisey Great job so far this month! 6y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Daisey I guess I just needed the right motivation, I did not want to renew those short stories or have to return them during the snow storm, LOL! 6y
Gezemice Wow, great job! Are you snowed in? 6y
Riveted_Reader_Melissa @Gezemice Nope, not yet, but they are calling for an ugly icy mess tonight. Since I got them back on time, we‘ll probably get nothing. LOL 6y
Gezemice @Riveted_Reader_Melissa We have a nice, mild day here. Which probably means a snowstorm soon... 6y

My January was pretty stressy, so not enough reading time for my taste... I didn‘t manage to keep up with the #AnnaKareninaReadAlong and will try to finish it in February @Theresa and I‘ve only read two books for the #MountTBRchallenge @DivaDiane
I‘m expecting more reading time in February 😊

DivaDiane Seems pretty good to me for a stressful month!! 7y
ju.ca.no @DivaDiane ah well, the graphic novels were just super quick reads for me😊 I was hoping on finishing more books of my TBR Pile😅 7y
ephemeralwaltz 6 is a GREAT reading month in my book! 👏👏 I need to try some graphic novels -- I haven't read one in ages! 7y
ju.ca.no @ephemeralwaltz I hardly ever read graphic novels but I enjoy it very much, I‘m really glad I managed to read a view this year already 😊 hopefully I can keep this up! 7y

My January reads...LOVED them all, but my favorite is going to be THE RECIPE BOX by VIOLA SHIPMAN.

Stop by my blog in February for the review of SUNBURN.

Stop by in March for the review of:

THE FAMILY NEXT DOOR, LET ME LIE, THE RECIPE BOX, THE BROKEN GIRLS, AND NOT THAT I COULD TELL.

Have you read any?

No way I will read all of these in January but a combo library, Christmas and bookstore #bookhaul will be where they come from. #thismonthstbr #readjanuary @RealLifeReading

RealLifeReading I hope to read The Mothers this month too. I'm intrigued by the title of Five Finger Discount! 8y

mom2bugnbee Aristotle & Dante was lovely. 8y
TheCanuckReader @RealLifeReading I heard the author being interviewed on the radio about turning out ok despite being part of a family of thieves and con men. She sounded fun and i stumbled on the book in a used book store :) 8y
minkyb You have some wonderful titles awaiting you! 8y
[DELETED] 3517561138 I have that same red owl timer. Bought at Jewel Gardens in Skagway AK! 8y
Bakingbookworm Great group of books. I loved A House in the Sky. I heard the author speak when she was in our area and her story is equally fascinating, terrifying and hopeful. It's being made into a movie with Rooney Mara playing Lindhout. 8y
