Outbreak | 
My inlaws just HAD to come visit us last weekend. Being a polite (& stupid) girl, I didn't push for them to stay home even though I felt it was unsafe. They get here Friday and say "we got a call that we were exposed to covid @ church (where nobody wears masks), but we were already halfway here" (its a 10 hour drive). Got the call yesterday that pops is infected, and my oldest and I are now sick. I'm so ? not book related, but can't vent on FB.

My husband's seems to be negative and our youngest 2 are ok. It just confirms that I need to stick up for myself and my kids more with his parents. They hadn't been here since Feb. So felt they had to see the grands. But my folks haven't seen them for over a year. 3y

Prairiegirl_reading I‘m so sorry to hear this. I hope everything is ok. I don‘t understand people. We are isolating right now because my husband got exposed to someone who was waiting for test results and didn‘t isolate and tested positive. He felt it was fine to roam around and do whatever because he was asymptomatic. It really sucks when the inconsiderate ones are family though🙁 3y

Traci1 @LibrarianRyan my MiL is now telling everyone that she believes FiL's test was false positive because he isn't very sick. So she thinks they weren't the ones who got us sick. Which is especially funny since neither of us have been out of the house (except to go to urgent care for testing) in about 10 days. 😒 3y
Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick That's awful! Amazing how many people just continue to go about their day like it's 2019. I don't expect little to stay in a hermetically sealed bunker, but shit! A positive contact should mean turn around and stay home! I hope you and your 9ldest get through this quickly with nothing more than mild cold symptoms. 3y
