This is my third book by Colleen Hoover, and the second one that had me crying my eyes out. 🤣 I can see why she has such a large fan base. I‘ve struggled to put down the ones I‘ve read and their definitely quick reads for me. I can‘t wait to read the next book to see what‘s coming next! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's been 3 yrs but I'm back!!! Life happens. My daughter who is autistic is finally out of therapies. So I now have more time to do what I love.... Read, take pictures and garden. Also! I'm getting married next year.🌻 So exciting.

I had to stay up way past bedtime to finish this! It was my first CoHo novel and I have to read the rest of her books. I loved it so much and I just didn‘t want to put it down. I definitely need the next in the series to find out what happens ASAP!

This is an interesting take on the teacher/student romance storyline. I liked the story, but for character's that were to be more mature for their age, acted so immature about their feelings for each other.

Ugh I‘m not sure where to start. I cried so there is that. Heavy topics but amazing cast of characters but I have to admit a few times Layken was a brat. But at the same time I understand where she was at still...bratty. I‘m off to pick up the second in this trilogy.

Wow! This book guys, it's just amazing! I'm not really into reviews but my idea here it's to recommend and let others know wether I enjoyed it or not; this book I did enjoy!!!!

So sorry Colleen Hoover. I just did not love this one.
I just couldn‘t get past Layken‘s immaturity. She acted more like a 15 year old than an 18 year old. Also, her poor mom. Imagine giving your daughter that kind of news and she immediately runs to some guy‘s house to avoid you. I‘d be 💔 heartbroken.

My love for Colleen Hoover runs deep. I read 6 of her books in 2019 and they were all ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. So, I‘m gonna make my way through all of her books in 2020, starting now. I started this yesterday and I‘m already almost done with it so I hope Matt doesn‘t mind being a single parent today.

I looove Colleen Hoover so much. I love that Avett Brothers lyrics inspired her to write her first ever book. I love that she self-published this on Amazon with no intention of it actually selling, and it hit the New York Times Bestseller list and got picked up by a major publisher. If you haven't read Colleen Hoover, I highly recommend her. She's an amazing person and an amazing author, and I'm so excited to read her debut novel. ❤

Another great book by Colleen Hoover! So addicted to the story of Will and Lakeyn. There‘s something about CoHo‘s style of writing that just pulls me in immediately and keeps me hooked. Definitely recommend Slammed 👍🏻

This is the second poetry teacher/student relationship book I‘ve read in a row (random). And this one is SO AMAZING. I cried. I actually cried. And I laughed a lot too. I think I‘m left slightly disappointed because I wanted more romance & the epilogue tied up loose ends too quickly for me. I wasn‘t ready for it to end. But I am more than excited to read book 2 of the series and see where it goes from here. Maybe I‘ll get what I was missing.

Book haul from thriftbooks! 😁 These are all ones that I've been dying to read (except Hitchhiker's Guide, that's Lucas' pick 🤣). Slammed is Colleen's debut novel, and also the reason I now love Avett Brothers.

Read this last March 2013. This is the first book I've read of Colleen's and she's now my 2nd top most read author. You guys should get acquianted with Will, Lake and slam poetry.

I absolutely loved this book if you love romance this is the book for toy

I was hesitant going into this because I hate when authors use the death of a parent as a plot device for romance, but I didn't feel like that happened here. I loved this book, I was in tears from chapter 1 (but that tends to happen with dead dad storylines).

Is it even possible to put all dramatic situations that are possible into one book? Apparently it is! What's next? Leyken being robbed? 😂🙈

For being an authors first book or especially if it's self published, I usually try to go in it with an open mind because you never know the writing you might get and how well the author does with the story line etc. Well, all I can say is I fell in love with Colleen Hoover(author). Her writing is superb and the story is well written! This book is about a boy and a girl trying to overcome the difficult life they were dealt with.

Story is fast paced but very plain. Couldn't connect emotionally, characters were boring and plain.
Romance was too easy and very predictable. Slam was good, enjoyed poetry but thats it.
