Of course the healthiest part of their relationship was the most boring to read. But I was so proud of Hardin & the ending was emotional for me. I don't really understand why Tessa waited so long? Maybe to drag out the story as long as possible? But they worked out. Which they deserved. Cute but I hate ending a story. Not sure if I'll be too interested in trying Before? what were your thoughts?

I'm hooked. This book has some issues. A lot happens to Tessa that's too convenient. I also have the opinion that Landon & Tessa are good for each other. It's so obvious they don't end up together since the back of every book promotes #hessa so I guess I'll try Landon and Tessa fanfic. However I am obsessed with Tessa's journey with Hardin, even if I have no opinion if they end up together. Great story overall. I'm obsessed & ready to start book 4

Slammed: A Novel | Colleen Hoover

This is the second poetry teacher/student relationship book I‘ve read in a row (random). And this one is SO AMAZING. I cried. I actually cried. And I laughed a lot too. I think I‘m left slightly disappointed because I wanted more romance & the epilogue tied up loose ends too quickly for me. I wasn‘t ready for it to end. But I am more than excited to read book 2 of the series and see where it goes from here. Maybe I‘ll get what I was missing.

Rachel.Rencher Ahhh I'm obsessed with Colleen Hoover. This one is on my list to read next. 😍 5y
Lola_jimmy Ahh I read all of them , this one and the second are my favorites I don‘t particularly like the third one though (edited) 5y

The title to this story is exciting & sexy, but the novel is not. The build up to the relationship was rushed, the twist was predictable and the language was far too poetic to be believable words from every character‘s mouth. The story picked up speed somewhere in the middle but completely fell apart again in the end due to extreme behavior that the other characters completely dismissed. This is an alarming novel for YA, and don‘t recommend it.

Seriously the best book I‘ve ever read!!! Currently on the 3rd book and I am so desperate to see where the author goes with these characters. So many curveballs I never see coming. As of where I am, I‘m not totally a #Hessa fan yet but I‘m so in love with the entire story that I can‘t put it down. What I appreciate the most is that the relationship can be relatable and not like other romances that overcome just one issue and the story is over.

StayCurious This is on my TBR list for sure! 5y
