I often skipped the page long description in George R.R. Martin's books because those things are too damn long even without them, but contemporary books where the characters love to make food make me really wish I had more kitchen skills.⁣

Kalari (Dogri: कलाड़ी or کلاڑی) is a traditional ripened cheese product indigenous to Rajouri, Poonch and Udhampur of Jammu province of Jammu and Kashmir state of India. It is a very dense cheese that is usually sautéd in its own fat and salted while serving. Kalaris are usually made from cow's or buffalo's milk, though kalaris made from goat's milk are also available, and have a whitish color.

I know this isn't Instagram or book related but I have found a new place in town that has authentic Mexican food so I have spent my past two lunches devouring this and reading a book. I wish I could do this every day. Work has been a little draining. 🌮🌮

I'll be a little late getting started on #litsypartyofone and #electicreadathon. It's international food fest so that's where we are tonight eating delicious food and listening to a live Irish band??? I got Nigerian and it's delicious especially my drink "Zoba" I think. It's like hibiscus juice.
