Book 7 finished for #DashingDecember, Book 6 for #WinterSolstice

Loved this book, real feel good book for Christmas. Loved getting to know the three main characters, and seeing the changes in the characters and their story. Bright optimistic ending. Only just found out this is a pseudonym of Paula Hawkins, of The Girl on the Train fame. Recommended.

Another year, & not a single book gifted to me for my bday or Christmas 🤔 (a combination of people being under the misconception I have enough books or that I‘ve probably already got it 😂) but that‘s ok - my favourite present today was this awesome European pillow case my Mum made!

She‘s recently gotten into slow stitching (that‘s those little black stitches you see) & she‘s long been a fan of vintage sheets & quilting.

cherinium I have to say, I think it is very difficult to gift someone who has any all consuming hobby. I just feel uneducated and am afraid of letting them down by getting them something they already have or something that does not live up to their expectations. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 4y
