I actually have 7 books completed in December so far. I would like to hit 22 total during the #winterreadathon. This is what I've gotten done so far this month.

It‘s rare to read a romance about a married couple. I found it interesting and has prompted me to look into more stories of already established couples. Winterblaze is full of secrets, lies and betrayal… so much delicious angst.

I used to think I didn't like romance novels until one day I had an epiphany: I'd actually been reading romance my whole life, but I didn't consider it that way because mine always had vampires or werewolves or magic. Even if I hadn't realized that though, this cover would have probably relieved me of my illusions 😋😍.

Another wonderful installment in the Darkest London series, following the story of the oldest Ellis sister, Poppy. Kristen Callihan does an amazing job of keeping each new book fresh and interesting, avoiding anything formulaic.

In this book, Poppy has to deal with her estrangement from her husband...while getting to the bottom of a demon's plot.

Another strong heroine, interesting plot, and hot love story.

Maybe my favorite of the series so far. Already put the next one on hold at the library. Surprisingly, I've read 7 books read so far in 2018.

Just 30 more pages to go, but momentarily sidetracked updating my Goodreads shelves and planning menus for the week.

I'm not officially participating in #24in48 but decided to track my reading this weekend. Thank goodness for audiobooks - #audiocleaning accounted for more than two hours of this. I still haven't finished any of them, though I'm getting close on the tagged book.

I love this series! It's a beautiful mix of historical and paranormal romance. Strong women and men, magic, and a great story add up to an awesome book.
