This one was so so. All the drama of teens is not my thing. But the storyline is good when I get past all the drama. I even cried at one spot of the story. Just tons how that I do like the characters.

Book 2 in the series. They have really crafted an interesting world combining witch and vampire lore. Solid characters and storyline. #100readschallenge

Oh, to be 16 and a vamipre. We all can relate. It was funny how Zoey was so focussed on her three (!) boyfriends, while people around her disappeared and died. But I still love her. I liked the foreshadowing, altough sometimes it was a bit too obvious. The book did suck me into the world of a teenager, which was enjoyable from a distance. I'm so ready for the re-read of the rest of the series. Who doesn't love attractive vampires?

I was going to give up on this after the first few chapters, I found I struggled to understand the characters and the story line was weak. However, the story picked up and had a fantastic ending.

I have cried and had my heart uplifted and felt so many emotions with this book!! Overall this series so far is excellent!!! I love the twists that I can't predict! Knowing that many questions were answered and yet many more have arose, I look forward to seeing how this plays out for Zoey and her friends in future books!!!
