When your fiancé is out of town for two weeks, so you buy massive amounts of sushi ingredients, and eat it everyday for lunch and dinner ??

Seriously though, in the past week or so I‘ve made it at least 7-8 Times. It‘s delicious, and I will never get sick of it ā™�ļø¸??ā™�ļø¸??ā™�ļø¸??ā™�ļø¸

š±Max says that he is happy that his mom went to Whole Foods today & brought him home some sushi š¨£ for lunch. He says it's his because he is a good boy, but he'll share--which means that he gets all the ahi out of it that he wants & his mom gets the leftovers--mainly the brown rice, avocado & nori. Yes, it's very tough being Max.š¹ #catsoflitsy š½ā¯¤ļø¸

DebinHawaii @tournevis Thanks. It's the persin which is mainly in the skin, pit & leaves that can be toxic to animals if ingested in large doses, but regardless, Max just eats the ahi without any avocado or avocado residue on it. 6y

Clwojick It's a California roll, so it's just Cucumbers, Avocado, and Crab mix (imitation crab meat and a bit of mayo for texture) on a nori sheet covered in rice. I generally prefer to add calamari or shrimp tempura, but I didn't have any on hand. @Kaye (edited) 6y

WarpedSweetness @Clwojick Yay, I'm not alone in the avocado disliking! Lol I can't even eat it in sushi, so you're better than me. I tried to make sushi once. It ended in diaster. No sushi, and me crying and while my fiancee laughed at me. Lol 6y

Clwojick @WarpedSweetness I used to be a sushi chef, so I find the rolling and everything to be quite easy, but it's still a pain in the butt to prep everything if you don't have the right tools. And it's hard to get the rice right if you're not familiar with it. 6y

WarpedSweetness @Clwojick I just couldn't get the hang of it. I watched countless how-to videos. SMH I stopped after a while and gave the stuff I bought away. I should also state that I can't really make rice either. Lol For some reason rice and I don't like cooking together. 6y
