#currentlyreading I'm a little concerned about the low rating on Goodreads but I figure if Stephen King says it's good it must be worth a shot, right? 🤔🤔
Sigh..... I'm so torn on this book! I enjoyed the main character $ the overall story, however, I felt like the ending was a bit predictable & all too familiar. I felt like I was reading the plot of Get Out if u took away the focus on race & swapped it with someone's place in society. I'm leaning towards a 4 star rating because I enjoy the writing style & characters, but may end up with a 3 star because I was so disappointed with the ending 😭😭😭
Finally got this on loan from my library.... So excited!

Finally was able to get my hands on this from the library!

This book seriously creeped me out right from the very first chapter. I actually put the book down after the first chapter and took a break from it because it was so messed up I needed to clear my head before I started again. The entire premise of the book is dark and twisty and spooky and gives off some serious Pet Semetary vibes…..

Merry Christmas to me.....

Such a cute, lighthearted read. Much different than all the dark stuff I've been reading lately. Gives a voice to those that may be too scared to speak up yet. Definitely recommend!
This book is pretty f*cked up so far....
Mothers were naturals for law enforcement, because toddlers, like criminals, were often belligerent and destructive.
Trying to tackle this 721 page beast.... 7% in...... Gorgeous cover though!
I saw plenty of bad reviews on this book so I was very hesitant to start it but it wasnt that bad. A bit predictable, but it kept my interest and was a fast read. The book focuses on the now all too common problem of mass shootings and shows what people are capable of when put into that situation.
Finally finished a book! Easy read, predictable plot but cute. Was a little weird reading a Christmas themed book in June though 😂
Giving this one a try.... Haven't finished a book in forever.... I hate reading slumps 😭😭😭
"Sometimes we try to convince ourselves of things that are not true, reframing the past to better explain the present."
Just started this book and it's already heartbreaking....
#currentlyreading - - - Trying to finish this one before the movie comes out 😊😊😊🤞🤞🤞
Definitely an interesting read.... The main character (Alvie) suffers from Aspeger's. The author does a great drop of engaging the reader and really making you feel the anxiety and stress that Alvie feels as she navigates through her daily life.
Weird, twisted, gory, demented, messed up, whatever you want to call it but still a good read lol.

My first completed book of 2018! Such a cute story. Predictable, yes.... But this is one that if it didn't end the way I hoped, I would have been so sad.
Genuinely loved this book. Devoured it! #MerryChristmasEveryone
Been wanting to read this one and just realized I had been approved for it on NetGalley. So excited to start reading it!
A fast, enjoyable read with quite a few twists. Definitely had me second guessing myself when I thought I had everything figured out.
Happy Release day to Cate Holahan! Hope everyone gets a chance to read this one :)
Not book related, but my hallo-weiner is ready for Halloween! Doesn't he look thrilled! Lol 😆😆😆😆
Full review up on my blog. Link in profile. Seriously such a good book! Definitely a can't miss for this year!
So glad everyone on here recommended this book! It was awesome! First book that I've finished in a day in a long time. Lots of suspense and I loved the story within a story concept. A must read for every one!
Hey everyone, my review for The Silent Corner is up on my blog. Check it out and let me know your thoughts! nikkisnovelniche.wordpress.com

What is everyone reading this week???
Was going to read Harlan Coben next but I've seen this book all over Litsy, so I have been influenced! Lol
Kick ass heroine and tons of action. Not a 100% unique concept to the book but was still an enjoyable read. Short chapters for easier reading and the story goes back and forth between a few characters. This is part of a series so don't start reading it if you don't plan on continuing the series, you will be left hanging! Book 2 is out in November but is available for request on NetGalley now!
Starting this one tonight 😊😊😊 Loving the short chapters! Makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something every time I finish one lol!
Another pleasant surprise. Found this to be a really slow start but I stuck with it and I wasnt disappointed. Dark and twisty and had me guessing until the end. If you liked Gone Girl then you will like this one!
So I just recently transitioned my book blog over to WordPress.... Wish someone had told me sooner how much easier it is than Blogger lol! Any constructive criticism, feedback, etc is welcome!
Book release alert! Little One comes out July 18th. Pick up a copy! One of my favorite books from this year (read most of it one sitting - only stopped because it was 2am and I had work in the morning!)Not to mention the author is one of most genuinely kind people I've had the pleasure of communicating with since I started my book reviewing!
