Avatar: The Last Airbender - The Search | Gene Luen Yang

I was asked by @madamereadsalot1 to share my Avatar the last Airbender Tattoo. It‘s the turtle duck from the scene where Zuko is feeding the turtle ducks with his mom. What I like about having it on my food is that when I‘m wearing flats, it looks like it‘s swimming in my shoe ☺️

madamereadsalot1 Oh my gosh! IT'S SO CUTE!! I love all the animal fusions. And the episode where they're in Ba Sing Se and the king has just a plain old bear and they can't wrap their heads around it. 🤣😂🤣 One of my favorite dialogue exchanges of the entire series. I need an Avatar tattoo. What bender would you choose to be? I'd definitely be Earth, Toph is my favorite! 5y

Schnoebs @madamereadsalot1 I‘d 100% be a water bender. I love winter and since I‘ve live in a number of the Great Lakes states I just feel really uncomfortable if I‘m away from water for too long 5y

Bookgirl Yes, but not on purpose 😂 Years ago I got words in futhark runes on my back to commemorate earning my English MA. Realized later Tolkien used futhark for the dwarves language in The Hobbit. People have assumed that‘s what they are. 🤷🏼‍♀️👍🏻😉 5y

Bookish.SAM Yep. One of my 3 tattoos is a quote by one of my favourite authors. I definitely anticipate more tats period and likely more bookish ones (I have a couple in mind) 🙂 5y
