What an intriguing memoir! Many of those with mental health illness are written off. This memoir is an excellent narrative on the unexpected onset of a mental health issue. The author is well-educated and a practicing lawyer and his description of how his life changed was a beautiful story on how to live life in spite of challenges. #memoir #stopthestigma #overcome #brooklyn

I‘ve been trying to use older books from my bookshelves for photo challenges and sometimes it makes me feel the years. I remember feeling #overcome by this book and loving it to bits but now I only have vague memories of the plot. Maybe it is me that is #overcome by age and failing memory! 😳 oh well “when I am old I shall wear purple. With a red hat that doesn‘t go and doesn‘t suit me.” 🤪

Ahh thanksgiving has me busy busy. I am #overcome with stress as I prepare. doing better now lol.
I chose this for #vulnerable since Mary Tyler Moore goes pretty deep in this book. Also I bought this last year when I was #22 😝 let me squeeze them all in there since I was too busy to find separate books!
