drokka The one with the orange writing looks part of a mass re-release of older titles when Rising Sun came out. (I say that because I was unpacking books yesterday and my copy of Congo is styled the same way and it's got the same 'author of Rising Sun' on it). I agree with @LibrarianRyan the black on will age better. Unless you're into that retro 80s look. 7y

#Confession - This Potterhead has three different editions of the first two Harry Potter books (the others will follow once the illustrated editions for those are published). And with the #hpchapteraday challenge I now switch back and forth, i.e. the pretty version is for home, the other two for 'on the go' and the office. The hubby thinks I'm crazy, I call this a perfectly reasonable system. 😂 #multiplecopies #cantresistaprettyedition

#multiplecopies! On the left is my original copy, bought in Waterstone's when I was 16/17. I was so excited to find the whole trilogy there as it had been a couple of years since the column I loved so much stopped in J-17. On the right is a copy I was sent by the current publisher, Atom, a couple of years ago. I don't particularly like either cover! I kind of preferred the covers the free-with-J-17 books had! #YA #UKYA #seasonsreadings2016
