pickBlythe Baird's collection is beautifully mature. Some of the poems make you sad, but there's a sense of a person who has grown up in these pieces which helps a lot; which gives you hope. That our personalities are more than what broke us.

You know a book leaves an impression on you when you still feel strongly about characters & events days after finishing it? This book is a wonderful character study, the plot is slow-moving and the characters drive everything forward. I‘m looking forward to how the series will adapt the ending and maybe also expand on the story.

pick3.5 or 4 stars- I See You was a creepy, realistic thriller that kept me on the edge of my seat. Some of the twists in this one were a bit more predictable than they usually are in her books, but I still hung on to every word, anxiously waiting to find out how it would all turn out.

It is beautifully written and the descriptions and character observations really pull you into the story.
