Chloe‘s dad has a darkness… and is later arrested for 6 murders. 20 years later, girls start to go missing again and this time Chloe, Dr Chloe, can‘t help but believe they are connected.

This book somehow jumped to the front of the list (for yet another day snowed in 😫❄️)

I didn‘t really think I was going to read this whole thing this weekend. But here we are. This is a great story, my heart broke for Evelyn so many times 💔 i loved the way it‘s told through the decades, how complex her life is even with the time lost, how things have changed (but not enough), the glamour, the scandals. Ooof.

My first Taylor Jenkins Reid, this was gorgeous!

I am not a fan of the fantasy genre, but this story about a bearded girl, forest sprites, a boy who has always been called a monster, and the son of the devil himself drew me in and didn't seem all that far "out there."

It takes a talented writer to pull that off!
