Poe is the king of goth. A few pics I took when I got to visit Poe's one time home in Philadelphia. I bought the book pictured there and a postcard they stamped with the date I visited. Was the perfect dreary fall day.
My first thought for #gothgalore was Emily the Strange and Type O Negative. I used to adore Emily's merchandise when I was in high school, and I still love Type O Negative.

He accepts work as a live-in assistant for a reclusive writer who, due to illness, chooses to communicate with Arthor by notes. Baker creates an atmosphere that allows the psychological haunting to unfold slowly and eerily.

#HallowReads #day14 #GothGalore There's no more Gothic reads than Dracula, Frankenstein & the stories of H.P.Lovecraft, though I really need to get a beautiful edition of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde & a bound edition of Edgar Allen Poes stories. These all are the kind of stories that need to be read late at night, in a creaky old house with a thunderstorm raging outside. #gothicorgohome
