This haiku is about what I saw in my backyard today. The blue jay flew off when I opened the door and I saw a lizard in the grass panting like he was scared to death. He was fighting for his life trying to keep from getting eaten. Poor baby. This picture of the Blue Jay is from Google.

This haiku is dedicated to my backyard wild birds and squirrels. I fed the birds and put out peanuts for the squirrels yesterday and put in fresh water in the bird bath yesterday and today. My birds and squirrels are having a party outside today in my backyard. They‘re happy.

Absolutely gorgeous picture about colour and nature, wouldn't expect anything less from Jillian Tamaki. I love how she draws movement.
I'm going to have the same bookspin each month as I'm doing it by colours on the cover this year. I really enjoyed this in January and it will be neat to see how many of the colours I actually end up doing by end of year!

Some alpaca yarn dyed with kitchen scraps (pomegranate peels, avocado pits, onion skins) — I am getting ready for a new knitting project. #LitsyCrafters
As a continuation of my last post, I thought I had finally pulled off my 30 book goal in the last two days only to find out that a book had been catalogued twice and alas I only reached 29. However, I will not be rushing to finish it this year as I feel that doing so would take away the fun and point of me setting these goals. I want to hit the goal because I was loving what I was reading, not to say I got to a certain number. So good job me (:
“Green is the grass,/ And green is the tree,/ Green is the leaves,/ And green is the sea.”
This would be a great addition to the classroom because it has rich language that describes colors as well as share meanings
This book has a collection of poems and has a colorful display of pictures that is fun to read and look at!
