Looking at those who have already been nominated, I am going to nominate @TheBookHippie She gives so much time to Litsy & especially for the #SundayBuddyRead. She has so many passionate causes and stays true to her own values and principles, and feeds regularly the most needy in the local community! She is passionate about her children at the school and will give her last breath educating, feeding & supporting them.

I want to nominate @TrishB - she never complains, but I have noticed wisps of annoyance during lockdown. I remember how she agreed with something I said about buying a book on refugees for my hardheaded, narrow-minded family members. It's been awhile since the discussion (2 years) so I am sure she has forgotten. But, I haven't. She made me feel that my opinion matters and never give up sharing empathy. #thegreatChristmasGiveaway @Mommamanzi

I want to nominate @Texreader - not only has she agreed to go on an adventure with me, but she shares information all the time such as when a great book is on sale. And, I know a lot of us love to see her posts of her mom's sticky note reviews. #TheGreatChristmasGiveaway @Mommamanzi

When I think of special friends I‘ve made on Litsy, @BarbaraBB comes right to mind. She has been an amazing friend to me, especially during the pandemic. She took me on a virtual tour of Amsterdam, which really lifted my spirits. She is also quick with helpful advice.

She‘s a vibrant member of this community from co-hosting reading the USA, Europe, and now Asia to sharing books by mail to writing insightful reviews. #thegreatchristmasgiveaway

So fun! I nominate @LeahBergen . She is an old soul. I love her thoughtful posts with lovely, classic covers from her collection. Always a joy. #thegreatchristmasgiveaway

There are so many people deserving of #TheGreatChristmasGiveaway being hosted by @Mommamanzi but I feel like I want to single out one person in particular @Megabooks who has been through so much this year, yet she still manages to be a supportive and cheerful presence on Litsy every day. Meg never sugarcoats her struggles & she‘s always the first to rejoice in other‘s good fortunes. She‘s bright, articulate, compassionate & my personal #AudioGuru

I‘ve made so many wonderful friends here and been encouraged, supported and inspired by so many of you - but today my thoughts go to the best penpal ever @DGRachel She‘s the best. I love her letters. They‘re full of feelings and honesty and life and celebrations. They‘re like spending time with your oldest friend that you‘ve not seen for ages. Thank you Rachel xx
