Reviewsbylola Rust probably is a stretch but the author talks a lot about her relationship with her parents, her dad especially. I Mom So Hard or How We Fight For Our Lives, which I also read this quarter, probably would have fit the prompt better. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 4y

Smarkies @Cinfhen probably the Bryson. The Chabon was good as well but it is slim and has about 5 essays in it. 4y

Cinfhen I read a different book by Bryson, also very good but I hear Walk is the BEST

One Summer: America, 1927

Cinfhen I‘ll look to borrow the Chabon...I read this fictional story but I believe it was based on his dad, who seems like a real character
