#ItTakesAllKinds #FoodOnCvr

Here are a dozen foodie books with #FoodOnCover that I like. There‘s plenty more to choose from but I thought these had a fresh and/or spring-ish vibe. 💛🌱💚

Eggs Beautiful books👌🏼🍽️🫕 3w

Maryland‘s past is long and haunted, filled with stories of strange creatures, spectral presences, and mysterious events.

This was an interesting read. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Starting off #Scarathlon with these two. I‘m rereading A Discovery of Witches a couple chapters a day.

Andrew65 Excellent. I need to give The Discovery of Witches another go. I was a 1/3 of the way through a couple of years ago when COvID struck, and not got back to it since. 6mo

Read4life I enjoyed The Discovery of Witches! Great start. 🎃👻 6mo
Catsandbooks I loved a Discovery of witches! 6mo
JessClark78 @Andrew65 It‘s a good book. I still need to read the other two. I figured I would do a reread and finish the trilogy over the rest of the year. 6mo
Andrew65 @JessClark78 I was really enjoying it but then think it got tarred with COvID. I need to get over that and get back to it. Although after 2 years I will need to start it again. 6mo

Actually a pretty solid week - it's a little bit of a lull with peaches winding down but apples/my delivery route not in full-force yet - that changes next week as I'll be taking over the Tuesday night farmers' market stall plus doing deliveries two days a week!! Anyway, checked several books off the list, plus finished both July and August #BookSpin books. Hoping to finish the tagged book today, but I'm working all day even though I usually have⬇

TheAromaofBooks (cont'd) Saturdays off - my coworker is off to a wedding for the day and I am covering the shift!! A couple of these books were my #TrappedonanIsland picks for August. I read 2/5, which was my goal (!) but the others are leaving the windowsill for now as I am not going to do carry-overs with that challenge. Not as many September additions as usual, actually, so tomorrow's pic of the Windowsill of Optimism isn't looking too bad!!

marleed I love this shifting shelf! 2y
TheAromaofBooks @marleed - Thank you!! Having all my “shortlist“ TBR books in one place has really helped me keep my reading focused this year!!! Even if the windowsill does sometimes get a little overwhelmed 😂 2y

visited a new #bookstore!

Was very small, but found some good ones and I wanted to buy more.

1️⃣ & 2️⃣ - My first two reads of 2022, some light relief getting me through a stressful January at work. I really enjoy the Chesapeake series, the novels are pretty heartwarming and easy to read, I enjoyed Driftwood more than Moonlight Cove, think I might have read too many of these in the past year so probably need a break, found Moonlight a bit cheesy!

5 stars. Poor Robin gets divorced and looses her job all at once. This is her story of moving to her 650 ft cabin in Michigan as her full time home. What follows is a series of essays with recipes about her struggles to feed herself on a budget while staying true to her keep it local ideals. Very sweet although her “budget” is 40.00 a week which is pretty good considering some; but much less then what she was used to. A very sweet read.
