The subject was vial and so is the person!
The author was very honest and very blunt about Kelly's activities in many states with young girl's some as young as 13!
Jim DeRogatis was facing being sued by Kelly and his team but he kept the girls Identity quite. Good man.

LibrarianRyan I'm often amazed how many times he as been investigated or brought up on charges just to have them dropped. They should have got him years ago. Hopefully he gets found guilty. 4d
kaysworld1 @LibrarianRyan Totally agree with you. It's about time they did the right thing for once and take him down. 4d

It's a really hard sell to say the 8th book in a series that has been ongoing for over a decade at that point is a game-changer, but OH BOY IS IT EVER. This installment of the Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes mysteries is the best I've read so far and it's going to take me ages to get over it. I cannot express how much I loved this novel, but here we are. 110% recommend to anyone.

I have always been a great supporter of anyone who tries to do the right thing even if it gets them in to trouble.
Right the wrongs I always say! People should know the truth.

This is an interesting read. He does not hold back on the details and it is shocking how much R. Kelly got away with so much but then that's what money does for you. It is shocking how much celebrity's get away with.

I wouldn't say this is a good book but it does have some detailed information in it to fill in gaps.
The thing that pissed me off with this is the fact she kept in contact with her mother after she was found guilty and then went about life as normal. You don't keep in contact with people if they have been sentenced to life imprisonment for multiple murderers and sexual abuse of you and your siblings.#readingthelibrary #librarybook #fredandrosewest

kaysworld1 It took me 2 attempts to read this book. It's not a book I will ever read again. Bit it did give me a insight to what the children went threw and how far the reporter's and journalists would go for a juicy story, and that is shameful on them! 3w
TrishB I have no idea how she could still keep in contact either 🤷‍♀️ 3w
ljuliel I don‘t like books when someone‘s family member is found guilty of horrible crimes , then they write a book about it ( or do a podcast) to tell the world. If I had a family member who did those things , I‘d change my name and move far away or else I‘d spend the rest of my life trying to change laws and make things more difficult for the criminals, and better for victim‘s families. 3w
kaysworld1 @TrishB It was strange she could cut off her dad in second's but it took almost loosing her closest sister to start shutting the door on her mother so to speak. 3w

#currentlyreading this book.
It's not a good subject to read about but I am always interested in everyone's side of things.
From what I have read so far Mae is defending her mother and blaming everything on her dad, that's making me angry they both took park in everything! #librarybook #readingthelibrary #fredandrosewest #truecrime #murder #reading #books ☠️💀📚🔪

RachelO Wow, that sounds like a difficult read. 3w
