#26for26 Readathon

I aimed for 700 pages (couldn‘t think of a good multiple of 26) and actually read 767 pages! 🎉

An excellent kick off to the year! Thank you @Bookwormjillk for hosting/motivation. I can‘t wait to see what other great reading 2026 brings.

I read 196/226 pages towards my goal for the #26for26 New Year‘s Readathon! That only leaves 377 pages by the 17th for book club! Thanks for the kickoff @Bookwormjillk !

Damn, all the guys in here are hot. Are there manga that make designs like these still? 🥵 The story is also pretty interesting and sounds like something that would be a problem now (training tech with humans to create a powerful tool) but this is from 2006. I'm curious to see what'll happen, which is funny bc the text can get technical sometimes, which I'm not the biggest fan of. But here I don't mind #manga

Wait! What about Larry's daughter? Did I miss that?! ?

Surprise: this is a sequel! But actually, it's very easy to follow the plot and all the characters, even with the MCs flaws, were fun and loveable in their own ways. I'm really curious about the ending tho, esp with how the "villain" was acting tho I'm not sure if there's a third book #middlegrade #fantasy #chineselore

☑️ I'm at 15.5/26hrs now!

#26for26 day…whatever this is. Two more readathon days left. It‘s indoor field hockey season again so I spent time with my kindle between games. Also started my George Washington book this morning. I may just put my two December books aside if I haven‘t made any progress by Monday. I just don‘t find myself reaching for them.

Next is 26 hours, I wonder if I'll be able to finish! So far I've spent 35min with this book (yes, this time I'm timing it, just in case, lol!)

I was a bit confused as to what was happening, but I think I'm starting to slot the puzzle together. I think this might be a book about a kid who has to grow up and be a parent too soon 🤔 #yafiction

This was a great book and the better of the two in the series. I enjoyed Lawson and Willow‘s story and didn‘t want to put it down. I also didn't check how long it took me to read this, I figured I'd just check the audiobook time but it doesn't have an audiobook 😭😭 so I'll just say it took me like 4 hours to finish half of it?? It was probably more but I'd rather guess on the lower end
