#MarchIntoThe70s #Day29 #SchoolsOut Alice Cooper always fascinated me,his showmanship & persona combined with a girls name gave him a “I‘ll be who I damn well please” aura which I totally was onboard with. This book, set in the 80s not the 70s,also has a touch of that vibe, about two friends in junior year at school. After a night of LSD,one disappears before turning up next day acting strange. By the end of the year Abby is convinced she‘s possessed.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — This book is so interesting! I really loved the different connections between past and present as well as the hilarious digressions. This isn‘t something I typically like/read, but I appreciate Robbins‘ ability to tell a story through imagery and even absurd metaphor. Would recommend!! #day29

Love poinsettias; my dad always gave my mother white & red ones at Christmas. We cannot have them in the house; poisonous for kitties.
Love this author; fortunately my Son adored him too as a child. I still cannot part with his books!
#MarchIntoOz #day29 #SoundsOfThen(This Is Australia) Today‘s Song is all about how it feels to live in Australia.🎵Out On the patio we‘d sit, And the humidity we‘d breathe, We watch the lightning crack over canefields, Laugh and think This is Australia🎵This whole month has been about Sounds Of Then. It‘s a month long travel through my childhood, growing up in one of the best countries on earth, listening to the best music.I hope you‘ve enjoyed it!
