My favorite so far!

What. A. Long. Day.
The library took part in our town‘s Holiday Festival today. I led two “Ring-a-Ling Read-Aloud” storytimes (with a jingle bell jam sesh at each) and then stayed after the library closed (upon request) to do an interactive read-aloud of The Night Before Christmas (which I 100% kept calling The Nightmare Before Christmas 💀), prior to other staff reading A Christmas Carol. There were scavenger hunts & spiced cider. I‘m knackered!

Look at what I found tucked in a closet at an Estate Sale this morning - I don‘t even know if these were ever read. 🤩

The first Moomin book that came out for the first time 80yrs ago. I think it‘s interesting that the original title doesn‘t mention Moomins, but calls them tiny trolls. Apparently the publisher wanted people to know what they was
In this first story Moomin and his mom are on a journey to find a place to live before the winter and looking for dad. In their way they meet several different creatures and has quite the adventure in a 50p book

#DashingThruChristmas Day 6: Loads of #HolidayRecipe in this hilarious book - my review here: https://wp.me/pDlzr-yL - posting in advance as we are doing a road trip to San Diego. 10 hours, baby!

This was an amazing book! Think of Felix and Unger but as monsters. Bella is the messy one and Boris is the neat freak. Can they ever get along as neighbors? Hmmm maybe a Halloween party will bring them together?!?!? The book is so full of monster puns that it is glorious and the artwork of Gris Grimly is just perfect.

Well, like the rest of you, I was stumped by quite a few. I would have done even worse if some of you hadn't shared--thanks to all for the assists! 🤣

My Mom got us a tree and we put it up today. With a reread of Winnie-the-Pooh and a fireplace crackling on the TV, I‘m feeling a bit festive. 🎄❄️ (There might be snow coming in tonight, I‘m hoping that doesn‘t happen!)
