I had so many full-smile moments while reading this book. From the relationship between the main characters, yes, but also the family & friend relationships highlighted, too. I think Borison did a great job fleshing out all the people & all the connections.
This is my first of hers I‘ve read, but it‘s making me want to go back to her other work. And I‘ll definitely read Jackson‘s book when it‘s out next winter 🥰

This was cute! I loved both Aiden and Lucie (and Maya and Grayson) and I was rooting for them. I loved that the plot evolved around a radio show and that Lucie is an auto mechanic. And that she has a nearly perfect coparenting set-up with Grayson.
The last few years I've found romance boring/annoying, so I haven't read much of the genre, but maybe I'm getting over that. 🤔🤞🏻 I'll try more by this author.

I was waiting for my significant other to come back from a work site visit, so naturally I sat at the bar of his building and decided to read. Then I also decided to try one of their seasonal drinks, and that turned into one more after that😅 needless to say, I remember why I don‘t like to drink

I loved this sweet Rom Com! Lucien‘s daughter calls in to a romance radio show- where the host, Aiden no longer believes in Romance. Book next to Odie- who lives up to his name. A very sweet hyperactive pup my SIL is fostering- he believes everyone is his bestie. He also believes reading should be secondary to playing with him. Luckily i have audio books too….

April #BookSpin / #BookSpinBingo / #ReadYourKindle The tagged book was my “Big City” - (Baltimore) pick for #FictionalTraveler. I loved it. It has similar vibes to The Ex Talk and I‘m glad a took a chance on it for my BOTM box.

I was hesitant about this one at first, as it was billed as a Sleepless in Seattle retelling and (unpopular opinion) I hate that movie! 😅 This book, fortunately, actually has not much in common besides a precocious child calling in to a radio station about their mom's lack of love life. The slow burn romance sparks with the jaded radio host and their banter on and off the air was really fun. I also loved her extended family unit

It was fun, entertaining, but some parts just felt bland. Or maybe I had unreal expectations :)

A wonderful romance Sleepless in Seattle style that is perfect. All the characters are charming, the two main characters are lovable. This was the perfect romcom, a tier 4! Book #26 in 2025

Is there a name for a trope where one main character is supposed to be setting up the other and ends up falling hard themselves? That's what this was. Very cute.

This SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE-inspired rom-com makes for a cute (though there a few steamy scenes!) listen. Single mother Lucie is shocked when her pre-teen daughter calls a local radio station‘s love-line with host Aiden Valentine for dates on her mother‘s behalf. Soon Lucie‘s on the air with her new co-host but there are more sparks between them than the callers! Their hurdles to romance fall a bit flat, but they make an easy-to-root-for pair!

This just felt very just ok. There was nothing really new here. It was entertaining enough that I finished it, but I won‘t really remember it in a few weeks. 3⭐️

Im really liking these rom-coms that I‘ve recently gotten into! Only one spicy chapter, and, like others, I think it could have been shorter. Super fun and witty characters though.

I love a B.K. Borison book and this was no exception. Funny, charming, and full of author characters, I laughed and cried while watching Aiden and Lucie fall for each other. A perfect example of why we love romance, this one will stick with me!

The reader knows from the meet-cute how this HEA must end. I wondered , oh geez is this story going to sustain its length with a revolving door of bad dates before Maggie finally sees what is right in front of her. But it didn‘t go down that way and turned out to be a fun read.
