pickThis was super cute. Lucie‘s daughter, Maya, calls into a romance radio show asking dating advice for her mom from the host, Aidan. This leads to Lucie on his show in an attempt to find Lucie dates. Inspired by Sleepless In Seattle, it‘s full of great characters and a cute romance. I didn‘t love the spicy scenes, but glossed over those and loved the rest of it. 🙂
pickOkay that was cute as hell 😭😭 Is Aidan lowkey annoying? Sure. But hey, that‘s on character arcs. I keep reading books with single moms looking for love tho, and I‘m not sure I‘m a fan.

pickTo finish a book in two days... You know I wasn't doing much of anything but reading this one.
I loved Lucie right from the beginning —she feels very grounded, and down to earth. She is aware of herself on something's like work and being a mom but other things like herself and her love life, like many of us, a bit unsure and unaware of her wants and needs but when she voices her musings aloud.. well things get good and I couldn't stop!!
Starting First-Time Caller tonight. I have the Owlcrate Romance edition. The sprayed edge says "You are the magic".

I had so many full-smile moments while reading this book. From the relationship between the main characters, yes, but also the family & friend relationships highlighted, too. I think Borison did a great job fleshing out all the people & all the connections.
This is my first of hers I‘ve read, but it‘s making me want to go back to her other work. And I‘ll definitely read Jackson‘s book when it‘s out next winter 🥰
pickThis was cute! I loved both Aiden and Lucie (and Maya and Grayson) and I was rooting for them. I loved that the plot evolved around a radio show and that Lucie is an auto mechanic. And that she has a nearly perfect coparenting set-up with Grayson.
The last few years I've found romance boring/annoying, so I haven't read much of the genre, but maybe I'm getting over that. 🤔🤞🏻 I'll try more by this author.

pickI loved this sweet Rom Com! Lucien‘s daughter calls in to a romance radio show- where the host, Aiden no longer believes in Romance. Book next to Odie- who lives up to his name. A very sweet hyperactive pup my SIL is fostering- he believes everyone is his bestie. He also believes reading should be secondary to playing with him. Luckily i have audio books too….

pickI was hesitant about this one at first, as it was billed as a Sleepless in Seattle retelling and (unpopular opinion) I hate that movie! 😅 This book, fortunately, actually has not much in common besides a precocious child calling in to a radio station about their mom's lack of love life. The slow burn romance sparks with the jaded radio host and their banter on and off the air was really fun. I also loved her extended family unit

pickThis SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE-inspired rom-com makes for a cute (though there a few steamy scenes!) listen. Single mother Lucie is shocked when her pre-teen daughter calls a local radio station‘s love-line with host Aiden Valentine for dates on her mother‘s behalf. Soon Lucie‘s on the air with her new co-host but there are more sparks between them than the callers! Their hurdles to romance fall a bit flat, but they make an easy-to-root-for pair!

pickI love a B.K. Borison book and this was no exception. Funny, charming, and full of author characters, I laughed and cried while watching Aiden and Lucie fall for each other. A perfect example of why we love romance, this one will stick with me!
pickThe reader knows from the meet-cute how this HEA must end. I wondered , oh geez is this story going to sustain its length with a revolving door of bad dates before Maggie finally sees what is right in front of her. But it didn‘t go down that way and turned out to be a fun read.
