#Riotgrams - It Was All Yellow: I couldn‘t let Coldplay get away. I was singing this song all day yesterday thanks to this prompt (spreading sunshiny joy)!☀️
& the color yellow is lovely to look at. When a prompt directs you to pull several books from your shelves, I go only for what is in the line of sight and close at hand so this is a sampling of yellow-spines books that I could gather in under thirty seconds. I‘ve only read Flavia‘s story.💛

BooknerdsLife Love this!! 🥰💛💛 5y

Jess7 I really want to read the Animators - I‘ve heard such good things!! 6y
kspenmoll @Jess7 I have not read it yet either; also heard good things. Buddy reads have been helping me attack my ridiculous TBR.(like so many of us Littens!) 6y
JoScho @Jess7 @kspenmoll it is really good! 6y

#ReadingSolutions @Jess7

A bit on the lean side for yellow books.

Can you see that THE OTHER TYPIST is well loved? :)

Have you read any other of these titles?

Kaye I read Dollbaby. I‘d rate it a 3 , but I have stranger taste in books than most people. I‘m sure some would rate it higher. It‘s me, not the book. 😮 6y
SilversReviews @Kaye Interesting....I liked it. That‘s good we all have different tastes, right? 6y
Kaye Yes, it‘s good we all like different things and have a variety to choose from. What if the only book to read was Moby Dick ? We‘d all have to read it, like it or not. I can‘t say I disliked this book. When I rate a book 3 , it means I liked it well enough to complete it , but not enough to read it again. As said, I think most would rate it higher. Makes the world more fun to have varying opinions. 6y

RebelReader I‘ve read them all except Hallelujah. I thought they were all 3‘s except The Other Typist. I really liked her Three Martini Lunch too even though it‘s a very different book than Typist. 6y
SilversReviews @Kaye LOL on Moby Dick!! Exactly - more fun with differing opinions. Thanks for explaining your rating. 6y
SilversReviews @RebelReader I enjoyed all of them. THE OTHER TYPIST was shared with quite a few friends and family members, and we are all puzzled about the ending. What about you? I didn‘t like THREE MARTINI LUNCH. :) Again, as @Kaye and I said: Thank goodness we all have differing opinions. :) 6y
Litsi These titles are so interesting. I with Listsy would automatically link book titles. 6y
SilversReviews @Litsi If you go to my blog, they are all reviewed there. http://silversolara.blogspot.com You have to do a search down the side. 6y

#BookColorTag here is the yellow stack for @CafeMom

Next up dark green for @MrBook which is turning out to be a challenge. Need to head down to the basement since I don't have any dark green on regular bookshelves.

MrBook You got yellow too! 😆 7y

I thought I'd have a hard time with the #bookcolortag – it was really surprising to find so many yellow books on my shelves! These are the yellowest I have, to brighten your day to the max, @Kalalalatja 😎

PS: I thought of you earlier today when I prepared a yoghurt bowl for my breakfast 😋

And now, as I drink my black coffee, I'm thinking it would be cool to see a stack of black books. @Sha0102 @JacqMac @monkeygirlsmama do you wanna play?

Kalalalatja You do really have a lot of yellow books! They look great 🌞 Hahaha I hope you enjoyed your yoghurt 😄😄 7y
monkeygirlsmama Nice stack! I'm game. Let me see what I can find.📚🙃 7y
Sha0102 I'll try later when I get home from work!!! #fun 7y
Sha0102 By the way, loved your stack! So beautiful!!! 7y

Pickpick

A great read about how API folks got into the discussion about race. The book is very academic but worthwhile and educational. I would recommend this book if you want to learn more about the API identity; however, I think Wu focuses a lot on eastern Asian issues since that is his perspective. Wu's writing is logical and clear, providing context and clarity in the concepts he is introducing. #DiverseBooks #DiverseBookBloggers
