His grumpy neighbor needs some holiday sunshine...Gideon Holiday is the perfect neighbor. Need a cup of sugar? Spare folding chair? Extra batteries? He's always ready to help. And he's waited years for his hot, grumpy, silver fox neighbor, Paul, to need him. For anything. But this December, Gideon would be happy if he could just get the Scrooge-like Paul on board with the neighborhood holiday lights fundraiser. Paul Frost has no intention of decking his halls or blazing any Yule logs. Even if his spunky bowtie-clad neighbor does look perfect for unwrapping, Paul would prefer to hide away until December is done. But when his beloved younger brother announces an unexpected visit, Paul needs all the trimmings for a festive homecoming-and fast. Luckily, Gideon is there with a color-coded plan to save Christmas. Soon Paul's hanging lights, trimming trees, and rolling out cookies. And steaming up his new flannel sheets with Gideon. How did that happen? It'll take some winter magic to preserve their happiness and keep these rival neighbors together longer than one holiday season. The Geek Who Saved Christmas is a low-angst m/m holiday romance with a guaranteed happy ending. This grumpy/sunshine, neighbors-to-lovers, found family tale features two heroes in their forties figuring out that maybe their sexily-ever-after was right next door the whole time. It stands alone and is not connected to any of the author's other universes. However, it does contain a heaping helping of the same emotions and steamy moments readers have come to expect!

After continuing to rage about the whole presenting woman as only good looking while wearing makeup problem for another 30 or so minutes, I decided that I wasn't really loving this book enough to feel bad not finishing it.

PuddleJumper 🤨 5mo
Kenyazero @PuddleJumper it was an extremely minor, flippant little sentence where a female fiancé is introduced as having the kind of face that looks good even without makeup. Just really set me off today ? 5mo
PuddleJumper @Kenyazero Urgh, that's bad 5mo

She had the sort of face that looked good even without makeup is the sort of line that makes me strongly consider dnf-ing a book.

So, I‘ve continued #MyBigGayHolidayTBR this year and it was a lovely romp through a bunch of fantastic queer holiday romances. It definitely made my month and is a nice cozy way to wrap up the year! The Geek Who Saved Christmas 🎄 was very solidly my favorite holiday read of the year. If you‘re still looking for those seasonal feels or if you‘re keeping a list for next year, read this one!

Happy holidays, Littens!

A sweet and steamy holiday romance about neighbors who fall in love over Christmas. Holiday decorating fanatic Gideon has a bit of a crush on his handsome, curmudgeonly neighbor Paul who just so happens to need help making his house festive this year when his brother decides to come for a last minute Christmas visit. Cute and festive and perfect for Christmas.

Finishing up one last Christmas gift with a cute holiday romance and my sad girl who cut her ear just in time for the festivities.

DGRachel Aww. Poor thing! It‘s all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone. I hope she feels better soon! 2y

M/m opposites attract trope Christmas-time romance. This was a quick and cute read. Really dug that both leads were in their 40s, not something I've read before. Some very steamy sex scenes 😱

Grumpy/sunshine trope. Neighbors Paul & Gideon have been mostly ignoring their interest in one another for years. Gideon finally convinced Paul to decorate for the holidays & they connect while working on it. The conflict here is all internal due to their own insecurities. It‘s a spicy Hallmark type story & I love that they are in their 40s. Favorite Christmas read so far this season. #romansty #kindleunlimited 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Super cute (and steamy!) holiday m/m romance! Albert is great at writing relatable characters who you can't help but love. Paul is a grump who never decorates but when his brother says he's coming home for Christmas he must enlist his neighbor Gideon to help, the cheerful holiday lights master. They each have past holiday trauma to work through together.

Grumpy sunshine Christmas perfection! Paul, a bahumbug guy wants no part of his neighborhood Christmas fun. But Gideon, decorating guru is doing everything he can think of to get his sexy neighbor involved.Fate steps in when Paul‘s brother comes to visit and wants the perfect moment to propose to his girlfriend. Paul needs Gideon‘s help.Opposites in many ways, but both are a bit unsure in a relationship. It was a sweet book and I read it in one day
