I loved the characters: Tessa and Corrick had sad pasts - it was really easy to understand their actions and it was interesting to see things from both sides.
This was really political book: It's always interesting to see who is betraying who and what are someone's motives. It was a bit too clear who are good and bad ones. The one plot twist at the beginning was also too easy to guess.
Really solid book overall, pleasurable & enjoyable to read.
