pickThis book was satirical and funny, even silly, but also sharp and incisive and pulled no punches whatsoever. A hard look at humanity with all its faults, with anthropomorphisized rabbits. This here, about humans, “You‘re trying to run a twentieth-century world on Paleolithic thoughts and sentiments.” That one will stick with me. The narrator, Peter Knox, is the Everyman, and is as flawed and troubled as we all are. A surprisingly thoughtful read.
