Oops forgot to post this one that I finished up in-between snow shoveling the other day. (I can‘t believe it‘s almost all melted already). It started out Celtic in my mind, now it‘s probably more St Patty, LOL!

More #audiocoloring and sadly yesterday news coloring. I like how the mix of solids and metallics turned out, makes the colors look a bit different depending on the angle and the light.

Gezemice @Riveted_Reader_Melissa Yes, I noticed it was a nice blend of the two. I agree, sparkle must be used as a highlight. It needs a background to stand out against. 8y

BookishMarginalia @Caterina I use everything from Crayola markers to really expensive Copic markers, but this was with alcohol-based markers from Peter Pauper Press (sold in Barnes & Noble). 9y

What do you do while you listen to bad news stories filter in day after day? I color while I listen. I finished this one tonight listening yet again to horrible news. It won't change anything, but I'll take what small measure of order & symmetry I can get out of chaos on a day like today. 👷🏼💔🇫🇷

BookishFeminist That is what I do too. Color or something else meditative when my brain will not let me read pages in front of me. 💔 9y

TheWellReadOwl I can only listen to or read the news in small doses these days. If it starts to be too much, I do yoga. Or play with the kids. 💔 9y

Mimi28 I shelter myself from the news a lot. I even quit Facebook back in November when everyone was talking about the terrorist attacks and outrage about a shooting here in Chicago. Jeopardy and cartoons are all I watch all day, and I even fall asleep to the baby channel. I do color, should do it more. 9y

Mimi28 Your picture is great by the way :) I have some inspirational coloring books that I color pages out of and send to people for birthday's and holidays and stuff. It's a great coping mechanism 😎 9y
