Continue to enjoy the story's development. Also, really love the illustrations and how diverse the artist(s) made all the background characters- size, shape, color, etc.
This series continues to bring a smile to my face, as well as the occasional giggle. I liked that this volume focused on dragging out the secrets that the girls have been holding. It felt kind of nice to have that all in the open, as the three girls being on the same page is when the series is at its most charming. Of course, now they all have to make tough decisions! Looking forward to reading if they are the right ones.
I really enjoy this series ! When you go off to college, you‘re gonna make friends but face some challenges. Relationships , housing, keeping up with school, it‘s all here. Susan,Daisy , and Ester are heading to the end of second year.I don‘t want to read them too fast ,I want more volumes to look forward to .
Book 1 and 2 for 2020 were volumes 7 and 8 in Giant Days. This is a fun series about 3 women and their college adventures. It is sort of contemporary and sort of fantastic in what happens. It's a lot of fun! Happy I am catching up on the series this year. I was also supposed to read a graphic novel for Bookopoly, so this was a win! #Bookopoly #2020read
So good! The ending was kind of a cliffhanger and I need vol 9 now but my library doesn‘t have it ☹️
Supper: leftover fried chicken, a big pile of greens cooked in bacon grease & Cajun seasoning, Tsingtao, and GIANT DAYS.
This is the last proper volume my library has. I'm gonna be mighty sad when I finish it, even though I've still got a couple of supplementary books to look forward to. Hopefully it won't take the purchasers another three years to get the newest ones!
🏡🏡🏡🏡🏡 This volume was so much better than the last. I was kind of disappointed with volume 7 so it made me happy that this one found the whimsy I felt the previous one had lost.
