Fast paced right from the start. It is dark at times but keeps hold of you until the last page.

Started out well, with a very Gillian Flynn feel to it. Then it went to all kinds of effed up. It was short and condensed, which I appreciated. I'm not sure how I felt about it by the end, to be honest. I think I liked it but I didn't? Do you ever finish a book with that feeling?

Winter came a little earlier than planned - my mini studio isn't quite ready for it. We're adding a fireplace and custom bench/day bed but I wish I had a space heater so I could at least curl up and read in it on this snowy day! Coffee and a book in the living room instead.

Yesterday I was in sunny warm Naples, FL ... today I'm back home with snow flurries. Hmph. However, I was driving the back roads to drop something off for a client and came across a super cute #indiebookstore with this sign out front! How could I not go in?! The owner recommended something so I obviously didn't leave empty handed, and I'll definitely go back. #getindie
