Wild about Books
Wild about Books | Judy Sierra, Marc Tolon Brown
8 posts | 9 read | 2 to read
All the animals are very curious when a mobile library arrives but soon they can't wait to learn about this new something called reading. They read thin books and fat books and Cat in the Hat books. Molly even found waterproof books for the otter, who never goes swimming without Harry Potter! Read along with the book-loving animals and go wild, simply wild, about wonderful books.

1. Sorted by genre and shelved favourites.
2. The Hobbit 🐉
3. Not quite, but sure likely with books bought at spiritual incense shops. 🔮
4. With top favourites, I do get interested in new edition covers and intros.

4. Yes especially the ones I re-read every year or when I find a really pretty cover.

Susanita I have a system that probably makes sense to me only. 😀 13mo

1️⃣ If at all possible, I finish a section or a chapter. But I have a family, so I get interrupted all the time.
2️⃣ Yes. All the time. Everywhere.
3️⃣ Nope.

SilversReviews Thanks for playing. I read whenever I can. 😊 13mo

This F book, E.B White Read aloud winner is a fantastic book for an elementary library. The theme of this book is reading. This book shows how zoo animals cone to love reading when a book sells last accidently comes to them. The animals read, write, and find books that they love. It encouraged students that their is a book for them❤ This book would be a great RA. A great resource to use with this book is https://www.judysierra.net/bug-haiku.html

GGallegos UDL principle 2.1 works very well with this book and ESOL strategy 26 by making sure there are books of all tastes, levels, and diversity in the classroom. 13mo
DrSpalding I like how you identified the theme, an important literary element. 13mo

#klbacphotochallenge Day 2
the only thing better than books are books about books 😊. This picture book combines the wonders of reading while introducing wildlife and many interesting titles that we should read next, all in rhymes. In it we meet the tree kangaroo who adored Nancy Drew and the scorpion who gives stinging reviews to aspiring haiku writers. Read till the end to see who won the Zoolitzer Prize in this Zoobrary 😉
