My husband introduced the kids to Monty Python and the Holy Grail tonight on Netflix. They kept giving me these bewildered looks through the first half but by the end of it the 8yo says it‘s now his favourite movie. The 14yo says “well that‘s 2 hours of my life I‘ll never get back” 😂🤣 I‘ve got a feeling she‘ll be quoting from it before the weeks out. It has that effect whether you like it or not!

CarolynM My husband got our kids into MP by playing audio recordings in the car. It certainly kept them entertained on long trips but there's only so many times I can laugh at the Cheese Shop sketch😬 5y

One of my Arthurian Studies profs in college was the world's 3rd-ranked Arthurian scholar. He said Monty Python's movie is the best film adaptation of the mythology. 😎👌🏻 6y

Laalaleighh Yes to the first pirates. I giddily clap every time at the end when Elizabeth is like "No, he's a pirate". I wish they had left it alone. It was perfection. I can't watch the rest. I pretend they don't exist. 7y
